Mini-beast hunt!

We had a lot of fun in the winter sun looking for mini-beasts around the school grounds.  Year 2 found the following mini-beasts:

spider
snail
slug
worm
woodlouse

Year 2 learnt that these mini-beasts like damp conditions and found them in them in soil, under bricks, under leaves and in barks of tree.   It is still a bit too cold to find more mini-beasts so we will do another mini-beast hunt at the end of the term in April.
