Healthy Homemade Strawberry Jam.
Class Two have been designing their own healthy, homemade jam using only three ingredients:
Strawberries
Chia Seeds
Honey
The children designed the jam jar packaging themselves after looking at lots of different variations in packaging design and identifying the key features seen. We even had a go of making 'gingham' patterned lids to give it a more authentic 'homemade' look!
Finally, we made our healthy, strawberry jam following a recipe from one of Miss Hobbs' favourite books- 'Deliciously Ella- By Ella Woodward.' (I highly recommend this book as it is jam packed with healthy, easy recipes using only natural ingredients- no punn intended!)
