Force

Last time Year 2 did some investigations using force.  We wanted to find out if different surfaces made cars travel further and faster.  

To make it a fair test we used  the same car and used the same height.  
We only changed the surface.  We used three surfaces: wood, sandpaper and carpet.  

We had a lot of fun measuring and recording our results and most of the children concluded that wood was the best surface because the car travelled further.  Wood was the best surface because it was smooth and flat.
