St. Albans Abbey trip!

We had a fantastic visit to St. Albans last Wednesday.  We all took part in a fantastic retelling about St.Albans and found out more about his life in Roman Britain.  Year 2 learnt how Alban was the first Christian martyr and how he gave up his life for his religion.  Children had different roles to play.  Some were market traders, rich Romans, Roman soldiers, slaves, as well as Christian priests and Alban himself.
