This week we started our Plants Topic in Science. We observed plants, leaves and trees closely and completed labelled diagrams to explain what we could see! The children drew on their prior knowledge of plants and trees and what makes them grow from a tiny seed or bulb! Next week we are going to delve deeper by discovering the scientific names for parts of a seed or bulb and how they grow, through the process of 'germination!'
